This is the front half of a John Deere tractor for kids that lets aspiring mechanics pop the hood, perform routine maintenance, and tinker with the engine. With 58 pieces that include a removable cowling, spark plugs, bolts, and other lifelike tractor components, a child can practice 15 different repairs, from checking the oil level and changing the air filter to replacing the wheels and brake discs and removing the motor. Once a job is complete, the child can get behind the wheel to turn the ignition key and hear how the engine sounds when it starts.
