From the Smithsonian Institution, this is the children’s rock tumbling kit that polishes coarse rocks into beautiful gemstones. It comes with 25 rocks including amethyst, jasper, and agates that can be placed into the barrel with grit and tossed for one, two, or three days until they obtain a smooth and shiny finish. The kit also includes polishing powder and settings for creating custom jewelry. AC plug. Ages 8 and up. 14" L x 103/4" W x 4" D. (31/2 lbs.)
