From Segway, the original inventor of personal transporters, this is the easy-balancing hoverboard that is steered using a patented ergonomic knee rest. Unlike standard flat hoverboards that rely solely on gyroscopic sensors and offer no apparatus for stability, this unit provides a safer ride with a polyurethane padded knee rest that assists in maintaining balance and improves steering maneuverability. Pressing knees against the adjustable steering bar enables one to propel the transporter forwards, backwards, left, or right, perform 360° spins, and come to a confident stop by standing up straight. Both larger than a typical hoverboard, its pneumatic 10 1/2" tires and pair of 800-watt electric motors propel it to a maximum speed of 10 mph and along with its powerful electrical power train allow the unit to easily climb inclines up to 15° and regain optimal speed after slowing down or stopping. A smartphone app compatible with iOS and Android enables one to remotely control the transporter, view dashboard performance, power its LED lights, and activate its security alarm.
